BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - RECRUITMENT SERVICES - Peterborough
£35,000 + bonus + commission + car allowance
A creative, solutions-driven Business Development Manager with experience in the recruitment sector is being sought by my client, an established technical recruitment business focussing on the food and drink sector.
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for strengthening and developing existing accounts, increasing the contact range and gaining opportunity for additional business streams with each client company by introducing innovative solutions and professional structure to each account. In addition, the BDM will be a dedicated hunter who can identify, pursue and penetrate new business opportunities with new or lapsed clients across the UK food and drink sector.
Whilst the Business Development Manager will not be managing recruitment activities on a daily basis, we are looking for proven experience gained in the commercial recruitment sector as the BDM will need to accurately interpret the staffing needs and challenges of the client, create and present the most cost effective recruitment solutions, brief the team and, where necessary, lead recruitment campaigns with a hands-on approach, whilst keeping the client fully informed of progress.
Ideally, the BDM will have at least 3-4 years experience gained in the recruitment sector and demonstrable experience of confidently developing new business streams by working closely with key, senior-level decision makers. Whilst understanding the mechanics of recruiting in a technical environment would be great, we’ll happily consider a promising candidate with recruitment experience in office/administration, industrial/driving, construction/housing, education, catering, professional services etc.
